Ohio State secured a pledge from highly-touted wide receiver Quincy Porter on Friday, bolstering their already top-ranked 2025 recruiting group.

Hailing from Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey, Porter is ranked as the eighth best wide receiver and the 49th best player overall in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports composite.

In the past two weeks, he took official visits to both Penn State and Ohio State, and was set to visit Michigan on Friday.

According to the composite rankings, the Buckeyes' top-ranked class is led by three five-star and 11 four-star commitments. In comparison, second-ranked Notre Dame has 21 commits, none of which are considered five-star prospects.

The five-star recruits in Ohio State's 2025 class include quarterback Tavien St. Clair (Bellefontaine, Ohio) and cornerbacks Devin Sanchez (Houston) and Na'eem Offord (Birmingham, Ala.). They are ranked as the second, fourth, and sixth best players in the nation, respectively.
