Spectator tumbles 21 feet onto cautionary path in Cubs-Pirates match

A spectator present at the Wednesday match between the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates tumbled out of the right field stands during the seventh inning and landed on the PNC Park warning track 21 feet below.
The game was halted for 10 minutes as paramedics and the teams\' trainers secured the fan to a backboard and transported him off the field.
Several Cubs players on the field kneeled and offered prayers for the unidentified fan during the delay. He had grabbed onto the railing in front of him with both hands, flipped over the bleachers, and landed on the ground with his upper body while Pittsburgh's Andrew McCutchen hit a double in the seventh inning.
The Pirates released a statement shortly after the home team's 4-3 victory over the Cubs.
\"During the seventh inning of tonight's game at PNC Park, an adult male fell from the right field bleachers onto the field.
\"Pittsburgh EMS, along with the Pirates and Cubs athletic training teams and other PNC Park staff, immediately responded and provided care. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital. No further updates are available at this time.
\"Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.\"
