Dodgers acquire right-handed pitcher Noah Davis before facing Rangers in series

The Los Angeles Dodgers summoned Noah Davis from Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of their series opener against the Texas Rangers on Friday, following the demotion of fellow right-hander Bobby Miller on Thursday.

Davis, 27, is set to make his debut for the Dodgers after being acquired from the Boston Red Sox in March for a sum of money. The native of Southern California had a record of 1-0 and an ERA of 7.94 in five appearances (including one start) with Oklahoma City.

During his time with the Colorado Rockies, Davis was 0-4 with an ERA of 7.71 in 18 games (including six starts) over the course of three seasons.

Miller, 26, gave up six runs in three innings during his first appearance of the 2025 season against the Rockies on Wednesday. In his three seasons with the Dodgers, he has a record of 13-8 and an ERA of 5.45 in 36 starts.
