Baltimore Orioles Acquire Designated Hitter Eloy Jimenez from Chicago White Sox

The Baltimore Orioles acquired Eloy Jimenez, an outfielder and designated hitter from the Chicago White Sox, on Tuesday according to multiple sources.
The details of Baltimore's return in the trade have not yet been disclosed.
Throughout his six-year career, Jimenez has been plagued by injuries. He has never played in more than 122 games in a single season and has already missed time this year due to a strained left adductor and a left hamstring strain.
In 65 games this season for the White Sox, who currently hold the worst record in the major leagues, Jimenez has a batting average of .240 with five home runs and 16 RBIs.
In 2019, Jimenez finished fourth in the Rookie of the Year voting and also received a Silver Slugger Award in the shortened 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Throughout his career, Jimenez has maintained a batting average of .270 with 94 home runs and 291 RBIs in 501 games, all of which were played with the White Sox.
