Lawsuit Filed by Red Bull Employee Against Horner Dismissed by Court

Horner prevails as Red Bull employee's plea is rejected in legal dispute

Red Bull F1 team manager Christian Horner has once again been exonerated of allegations of inappropriate conduct after an appeal in the case was rejected.

Red Bull GmbH, the parent company of the Formula One racing team based in Austria, made the announcement on Thursday after reviewing the results of a second independent investigation into the complaint filed by an unnamed female employee.

According to media reports, the woman was a colleague of Horner, the head and CEO of Red Bull Racing, and has been suspended by the team since March. Horner, 50, has denied the allegations since they were made on the eve of the 2024 Formula One season.

The initial internal investigation, which lasted eight weeks and was conducted by an independent King's Counsel (KC), questioned Horner and concluded that the alleged victim's claims were baseless.

She appealed the decision, and a second independent KC oversaw the appeal process. The appeal was dismissed, and Red Bull accepted the findings of both investigations.

"The entire appeal process has now been completed, with the final outcome being that the appeal has been rejected," the company stated. "Red Bull has accepted and adopted the KC's findings. The internal process has come to a close.

"The company respects the privacy of all of its employees and will not be making any further public statements on this matter at this time."

Horner has been in charge of the F1 team since 2005.
