Kaulig Racing has chosen Ty Dillon to lead its second car in 2025, as announced by the team on Saturday. Meanwhile, Daniel Hemric will be leaving, as confirmed by the racer on social media.

Dillon has made a few select appearances this season in the Cup Series, racing for 23XI Racing and Richard Childress Racing in addition to Kaulig.

\"I am eagerly anticipating what the upcoming season holds for our team,\" Dillon stated. \"We have a promising future ahead of us and we will give our all in every race next year.\"

The 32-year-old will be driving for Kaulig at Kansas Speedway on Sunday, having already achieved seven top-10 finishes in 244 starts.

\"Ty has been a tremendous asset to our team this year in our No. 16 car, competing in a limited schedule,\" owner Matt Kaulig praised. \"He has consistently performed well every time he has been behind the wheel and has greatly contributed to the growth of our program this season. We believe he will play a vital role in the continuation of our Cup program in partnership with Richard Childress Racing.\"

Dillon is the grandson of Childress.

Moving forward, Dillon will be driving the No. 10 Chevrolet, with AJ Allmendinger in the No. 16.

\"We are thrilled to have secured the rights to the No. 10 for the 2025 Cup Series season,\" president Chris Rice expressed.

Dillon's last full season was in 2023 with Spire Motorsports.

Kaulig has relinquished the rights to the No. 31 car and has also released Hemric at the end of the season.

Dillon is the younger brother of NASCAR driver Austin Dillon, who won the 2018 Daytona 500.
