"Senators Form Alliance with LPGA Star Brooke Henderson"
The Ottawa Senators and Ontario native LPGA star Brooke Henderson have formed a multi-year partnership, announced on Wednesday.
As part of the agreement, Henderson will don Senators gear and team colors for one day during each tournament, as well as incorporating the team's branding on her golf towels and water bottles. She will also take part in activities related to the NHL team while in Ottawa.
\"(It\'s) a piece of home,\" expressed Henderson, a native of Smiths Falls, Ontario. \"I\'m proud to represent and show my support for my team and where my heart lies. And with the water bottle, I'll feel like one of the guys on the bench, which will be pretty cool too.\"
At 26 years old, Henderson has won 13 LPGA Tour events, including the 2016 Women's PGA Championship and the 2022 Evian Championship.
\"I\'m thrilled to partner with the Senators. It's an amazing opportunity,\" said Henderson. \"Growing up, I played and loved hockey, and I always rooted for the Senators, so it feels like a perfect match.
