'Rangers Defenseman Ryan Lindgren Signs One-Year Contract Extension'

New York Rangers' defenseman Ryan Lindgren has agreed to a one-year extension on Tuesday.

According to multiple sources, the contract is valued at $4.5 million.

Lindgren, who is 26 years old, has spent his entire six-year NHL career with the New York team. In the most recent 2023-24 season, he tallied 17 points (three goals and 14 assists) in 76 games. He also recorded 103 blocks and 114 hits.

Throughout his 333 games in the league, Lindgren has accumulated 10 goals, 70 assists, 465 blocks, and 514 hits.

The Boston Bruins drafted Lindgren in the second round (49th overall) of the 2016 draft.
