Monarchs extend contract of D Jordan Spence for 2 years, worth $3M
The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed defenseman Jordan Spence, the first NHL player born in Australia, to a two-year contract worth $3 million.
At the age of 23, Spence had a successful first full season in the NHL, recording 24 points (two goals, 22 assists) in 71 games. He also contributed one assist in five playoff games.
Since being drafted in the fourth round in 2019 by the Kings, Spence has played in 101 games and has a total of 33 points (four goals, 29 assists).
