The Colorado Avalanche activated forward Artturi Lehkonen from the injured reserve on Sunday.

Lehkonen had been out of commission since undergoing shoulder surgery during the summer.

The 29-year-old recorded 11 points (six goals, five assists) in 11 playoff games in the previous season, and 34 points (16 goals, 18 assists) in 45 regular season games.

The native of Finland has amassed 243 points (117 goals, 126 assists) in 521 games with the Montreal Canadiens and Avalanche. He was drafted by the Canadiens in the second round of the 2013 draft and won the Stanley Cup with Colorado in 2022.

In addition, on Sunday, the Avalanche reassigned rookie forward Ivan Ivan to the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League.

The 22-year-old had four points (two goals, two assists) in 12 games with the Avalanche this season.
