'Absence of Jason Robertson in Game 1 against Avalanche due to 'Star' status'

Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson will not be able to play in Game 1 of the first-round series against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday due to a lower-body injury.

Robertson sustained the injury during the Stars' final regular-season game against the Nashville Predators on Wednesday and is expected to be out for an indefinite period of time.

The 25-year-old was the top goal scorer for the Stars this season with 35 goals and also had 45 assists and 80 points in 82 games.

Since being drafted by Dallas in 2017, Robertson has recorded a total of 394 points (168 goals, 226 assists) in 374 career games.
