Lydia Ko experiencing arm discomfort before major tournament

Lydia Ko is experiencing a prickling sensation in her right arm after waking up with a neck cramp earlier in the week.
Ko, the third-ranked player in the world, discussed her condition before the LPGA's first major tournament of the season, the Chevron Championship in The Woodlands, Texas.
"I've been receiving a lot of treatment for it," Ko told Golfweek after completing her nine-hole pro-am event on Tuesday. "It's better than yesterday, but my arm still doesn't feel normal."
Ko, who will turn 28 on Thursday, believes she can play through the discomfort.
"It was manageable, but I could sense it during my backswing and follow-through," Ko said. "My coach even said, 'Oh, you finish like Mr. (Arnold) Palmer.' I thought, well, that's good news - I would love to have a finish like Mr. Palmer."
A 23-time champion on the LPGA Tour and a member of the LPGA Hall of Fame, Ko previously won this major in 2016 when it was held at Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, California.
