Jon Rahm is currently experiencing flu-like symptoms and has chosen to withdraw from the LIV Golf Team Championship on Saturday at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas.

LIV alternate John Catlin will take Rahm's place as Legion XIII competes against Phil Mickelson's HyFlyers GC in the semifinals. Catlin will face off against Cameron Tringale in the first singles match.

According to a post on social media by Legion XIII, \"Jon has been dealing with severe flu symptoms for the past few days. In the best interest of his team and under the guidance of his medical team, he will not be participating this weekend. However, he will continue to offer his full support to his team.\"

Other members of Legion XIII include Tyrrell Hatton from England, Caleb Surratt, and recently demoted Kieran Vincent from Zimbabwe.

At 29 years old, Rahm was just crowned the 2024 LIV Golf League individual champion. This is his first year on the tour after leaving the PGA Tour in December.
