The Pittsburgh Steelers have renewed their contract with unrestricted free agent linebacker Markus Golden for a one-year term on Thursday.

At the age of 33, Golden recorded four sacks, 10 hits on the quarterback, and 20 tackles throughout 16 games while playing for the Steelers last season.

Having been in the league for 10 years, the experienced player has accumulated a total of 51 sacks, 140 hits on the quarterback, 343 tackles, and 11 forced fumbles in 127 games (68 of which he started) with the Arizona Cardinals (2015-18, 2020-22), New York Giants (2019-20), and Steelers.

Golden was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft after playing for Missouri in college.
