Massage Practitioners Accuse Baltimore Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker of Inappropriate Behavior

Massage Practitioners Accuse Baltimore Ravens' Kicker Justin Tucker of Inappropriate Sexual Behavior

Baltimore Ravens placekicker Justin Tucker was accused of inappropriate sexual misconduct by six massage therapists in an investigative report by the Baltimore Banner on Thursday.

Tucker issued a statement on social media vehemently refuting the accusations, while the Ravens released their own statement stating that they "take any allegations of this nature seriously and will continue to monitor the situation."

The reporters at the Banner who published the story received a tip on January 9th and began investigating the claims. The six women who spoke to the news organization chose to remain anonymous out of fear of potential retaliation from the Ravens or their fans.

Five of the therapists accused Tucker of requesting that they "massage his pelvic region or inner thighs while he was aroused," and then exposing his genitals by moving the sheets covering him. Two claimed that Tucker brushed them with his exposed penis, while three stated that he left "a significant wet spot" on their massage tables that they strongly believed to be semen.

These alleged incidents occurred between 2012 and 2016.

In a lengthy denial, Tucker wrote, "The allegations made against me in The Baltimore Banner article are completely false."

"Throughout my career as a professional athlete, I have always conducted myself with the utmost professionalism. I have never been accused of any misconduct and have never acted inappropriately in front of a massage therapist or during a massage therapy session. I have never received any complaints from a massage therapist, have never been dismissed from a massage therapy or bodywork session, and have never been told that I was not welcome at any spa or other place of business."

The Banner's report claimed that two spas in the Baltimore area banned Tucker from returning, but his lawyers deny this. They also deny that Tucker ever ejaculated at a spa.

"In accusing me of misconduct, the article takes innocent or ambiguous interactions and distorts them to the point where they are unrecognizable, and it presents vague insinuations as facts," Tucker's statement continued. "This is desperate tabloid fodder."

Tucker has retained the services of the law firm Clare Locke, whom he called "the top defamation law firm in the United States."

"As a matter of principle, I believe it is important for individuals to come forward and report any misconduct," Tucker wrote. "I support a process that allows for claims to be properly investigated. However, for the sake of myself and my family, I cannot allow false accusations to go unchallenged. I cannot be any clearer. These allegations are false and incredibly hurtful to both myself and, more importantly, my family."

An NFL spokesperson told ESPN that they were not aware of any allegations against Tucker until the Banner reached out to them for their story.

Tucker, who is 35 years old, holds the record for the most accurate field goal kicker in league history (89.1 percent) and is the longest-tenured member of the Ravens. He has played for Baltimore for his entire 13-year career (2012-2024).
