Isaiah Bond, potential NFL draft pick, turns himself in for warrant related to sexual assault

Isaiah Bond, a wide receiver who is being considered for the upcoming NFL draft, surrendered himself to authorities in Frisco, Texas on Thursday for a warrant related to sexual assault.

Bond was able to post bail and was subsequently released. He took to Instagram to issue a statement denying the allegations made against him.

\"I would like the chance to defend myself and prove that these accusations are completely false,\" Bond wrote. \"I am fully cooperating with the authorities and will continue to do so as the investigation unfolds. These types of claims can be damaging to all parties involved without a thorough review. I kindly ask that judgement be withheld until the authorities have completed their investigation and have presented a report based on facts and evidence. Sincerely, Isaiah Bond.\"

The specifics of the allegations against Bond have not yet been disclosed.

Bond transferred to Texas in 2024 after playing two seasons at Alabama. He had a total of 34 catches for 540 yards and five touchdowns, as well as four carries for 98 yards and a rushing touchdown in 14 games this past season.

Throughout his three-year college career, Bond recorded 99 receptions for 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns. Multiple sources predict that he will be selected in the second or third round of the draft.
