'Chiefs extend contract with LB Jack Cochrane for one year'

The Kansas City Chiefs renewed the contract of linebacker Jack Cochrane for a one-year period on Friday.

The constrained free agent accepted the $3.263 million proposal offered by the team last month.

Cochrane, who is 26 years old, participated in 15 regular-season games last season, primarily on special teams.

The two-time winner of the Super Bowl has recorded 42 tackles in 47 games (with one start) since being undrafted in 2022.

Cochrane has accumulated 895 career snaps on special teams and 189 on defense, with only nine of those coming in 2024.
