The Kansas City Chiefs inked a three-year extension with tight end Noah Gray on Thursday, as reported by various media outlets.
According to the NFL Network, the contract is worth $19.5 million, which includes a $6 million signing bonus and $10 million guaranteed upon signing. However, ESPN reported that the deal is valued at $18 million, with $10.1 million guaranteed.
The Chiefs kicked off their regular season at home against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.
Gray, 25, appeared in all 17 regular-season games and started a career-high 10 games in the Chiefs' two-tight end formations, alongside All-Pro Travis Kelce. He recorded 28 receptions for 305 yards and two touchdowns, matching or surpassing his personal bests for a single season.
Gray saw action on 52 percent of the offensive snaps (592) and also contributed on special teams (219).
The Chiefs drafted Gray in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Duke. In 50 career games (19 starts), he has tallied 63 catches for 640 yards and four touchdowns.
