"Chargers to Face Ravens' Key Player Roquan Smith (hamstring) Absent Due to Injury"
The Baltimore Ravens' standout middle linebacker, Roquan Smith, will not be playing in Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a hamstring injury.
Smith sustained the injury during last week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and has been unable to practice all week. He was listed as questionable on the injury report released on Saturday.
Before the game, Smith was seen doing some running and stretching exercises during warmups, but his name was ultimately included on the list of inactive players released by the team.
As a two-time Pro Bowl selection, Smith entered the week as one of the top tacklers in the NFL with 110 tackles.
The Ravens also announced that running back Rasheen Ali, center Nick Samac, outside linebacker David Ojabo, cornerback Arthur Maulet (calf), and safety Sanoussi Kane (ankle) will not be playing. Maulet and Kane were both ruled out on Saturday.
However, center Tyler Linderbaum (back) and defensive tackle Travis Jones (ankle) will be playing despite being listed as questionable on Saturday.
