Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was charged with two misdemeanors after being arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence last month, according to reports on Monday.

Addison is scheduled for an arraignment on October 7th at Los Angeles County Superior Court after being officially charged last week with driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent, as stated in court records.

According to the NFL's policy on substances of abuse, Addison could face a suspension of at least three games.

Reports indicate that Addison was arrested on July 12th in Los Angeles for driving under the influence.

Based on the arrest report, the Los Angeles Daily News stated that the 22-year-old Addison, who played his final college season at the University of Southern California in 2022, was found asleep in his vehicle, which was blocking the main offramp to Los Angeles International Airport, just after 11 p.m. on July 12th.

About 30 minutes later, Addison was arrested by California Highway Patrol officers after a DUI investigation. He was released from custody around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, according to the report.

The Vikings released a statement at the time, saying, "We are aware of Jordan Addison's arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information about the incident."

After being drafted 23rd overall in 2023, Addison had 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, earning a spot on the NFL All-Rookie team.

In July of last year, before his rookie season, Addison was cited in Minnesota for speeding and reckless driving after allegedly driving 140 mph in a 55 mph zone.
