Reports: Vikings acquire LT Cam Robinson from Jaguars

Following the loss of their starting left tackle to a season-ending injury, the Minnesota Vikings reportedly acquired his replacement by trading for Cam Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday, according to reports from ESPN and NFL Network.
In exchange for Robinson and a conditional 2026 seventh-round draft pick, the Vikings gave up a conditional 2026 fifth-round selection. Depending on Robinson's playing time, the seventh-rounder may be dropped and the fifth-rounder could be upgraded to a fourth.
The injury to Vikings tackle Christian Darrisaw, who suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee during Thursday's 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, prompted the team to make the trade.
Robinson, who was drafted in the second round by the Jaguars in 2017, has started all 91 games he's played since his rookie year.
Now an unrestricted free agent after 2024, Robinson joins a 5-2 Vikings team in the midst of a playoff race, while the 2-6 Jaguars are able to shed his $16.25 million base salary. It is currently unknown if Jacksonville will retain any of Robinson's salary to facilitate the trade.
