"Ole Miss Defensive Lineman Zxavian Harris Accused of Domestic Abuse"

Ole Miss defensive tackle Zxavian Harris was taken into custody on Sunday for alleged domestic violence and obstructing arrest, as reported by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office.

The university did not provide a response to ESPN's inquiry on Monday. Head coach Lane Kiffin was expected to hold a press conference later in the day.

Harris appeared in 11 games last year and recorded 30 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, one sack, and three blocked kicks.

The 6-foot-7, 320-pound junior from Canton, Mississippi, had previously been arrested in July 2023 for charges such as driving under the influence and felony evasion.
