"Michigan Reaches Out to Iowa's Transfer Quarterback, Brendan Sullivan: Report"

Iowa's quarterback, Brendan Sullivan, has recently joined the transfer portal, but it appears that his stay there will be brief.

Early indications suggest that the 22-year-old Sullivan may end up playing for another team in the Big Ten conference.

According to On3.com, Michigan has reportedly shown interest in Sullivan. He entered the portal after the arrival of quarterback Mark Gronowski from South Dakota State, who was highly decorated at the FCS level and named the 2023 player of the year.

Last season, Sullivan served as a backup and completed 38 of 53 passes for 475 yards for the Hawkeyes. He threw three touchdown passes and three interceptions.

Sullivan spent one season at Iowa after playing for another Big Ten program, Northwestern, for two seasons.

As a three-star recruit from Davison, Mich., Sullivan was ranked as the 49th best quarterback in the Class of 2021 by the 247Sports composite.

Michigan has already added quarterback Bryce Underwood, the top overall player in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports composite. Underwood, from Belleville, Mich., enrolled in January.
