"Pittsburgh Quarterback Eli Holstein Suffers Leg Injury and is Transported by Cart"
Pittsburgh's quarterback, Eli Holstein, was taken off the field with 5:32 remaining in the first quarter of Saturday's Atlantic Coast Conference match against Louisville due to a possible left ankle injury.
The freshman was tackled by Louisville's Ashton Gillotte at the Panthers' 49-yard line, causing him to roll on his ankle. Holstein had to be assisted to the cart while wearing a walking boot.
After suffering a head injury in the previous game against Virginia, Holstein was unable to play in last week's game against Clemson.
Before being substituted, Holstein had completed 3 out of 5 passes for 51 yards and had one interception.
Nate Yarnell, who threw for 350 yards in the loss to Clemson, took over for Holstein.
