"Auburn secures pledges from two highly-touted defensive prospects for 2026 class"

Auburn secured commitments on Saturday from two highly-rated prospects from Alabama in the Class of 2026.
Shadarius Toodle, a linebacker from Cottage Hill Christian Academy, and Hezekiah Harris, an edge rusher from Jemison High School in Huntsville, announced their commitment while attending Big Cat Weekend, Auburn's annual recruiting event.
According to the 247Sports composite, Toodle is ranked as the No. 5 linebacker and the No. 67 overall player in the class. Harris is the No. 4 edge rusher and No. 30 overall.
Toodle explained his decision to commit to Auburn to Auburn Undercover, saying, "It's the atmosphere that drew me in. Every time I visited, I loved it. I've been here four times now. My family also loves it. I had the chance to talk with Coach (Hugh) Freeze and the staff, and they made me feel at home."
He added, "It's the best decision I've ever made."
