Lynx Obtain Guard Karlie Samuelson from Mystics

The Minnesota Lynx acquired experienced guard Karlie Samuelson from the Washington Mystics on Monday, according to multiple reports.

In return, the Mystics will receive a first-round selection in the 2026 WNBA Draft.

Samuelson, who will turn 30 next month, joins her sixth team as she enters her seventh season in the league.

She posted a career-best 8.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 29 games (19 starts) for the Mystics in 2024.

Throughout her career, Samuelson has averaged 5.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in 105 games (45 starts) with the Los Angeles Sparks (2018-19, 2021, 2023), Dallas Wings (2019), Seattle Storm (2021), Phoenix Mercury (2022), and Mystics.

She boasts a career 3-point shooting percentage of 39.7 percent.
