Tennessee point guard Cameron Carr will be out of commission for four to six weeks due to a left thumb injury, as confirmed by the university on Thursday.

The 6-foot-6 second-year player sustained the ailment during last Sunday's 103-68 victory against Austin Peay in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Carr's current season statistics include an average of 4.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 10.5 minutes per game, with no starts in four games played.

The 11th-ranked Volunteers (4-0) will take on Virginia (3-0) on Thursday evening in the Baha Mar Championship held in Nassau, Bahamas.
