Louisville's starting power forward, Aboubacar Traore, sustained a fractured left arm, as announced by the team prior to Tuesday's matchup against Bellarmine. He is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

The 6-foot-5 player from the Ivory Coast joined Louisville in the spring after playing three seasons at Long Beach State, where he achieved over 1,000 points. Last season, he recorded an average of 12.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, earning recognition as an All-Big West player and Big West Tournament MVP. In his two starts for Louisville (1-1) this season, Traore averaged 1.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.

Additionally, the Cardinals will be missing Koren Johnson (shoulder) for the game against Bellarmine. The transfer from Washington had an average of 3.0 points and 2.5 assists in his first two games with Louisville.
