Houston G Milos Uzan to announce entry into NBA draft

Houston's Milos Uzan, a guard, will announce his intention to enter the 2025 NBA Draft after helping the Cougars make it to the final of the NCAA Tournament.

On Sunday, Aman Dhesi of PNW Sports Group, the 6-foot-4 junior's agent, confirmed the decision to ESPN.

In his single season with the Cougars (35-5) in 2024-25, Uzan started all 40 games and averaged 11.4 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.1 rebounds. He also shot 42.8 percent from beyond the arc and was named to the All-Big 12 second team.

During the Sweet 16, Uzan scored 22 points in Houston's 62-60 victory over Purdue, including the game-winning layup with 0.9 seconds remaining. He also had a career-high of 25 points in the Cougars' 72-64 win against Arizona in the Big 12 tournament championship game.

The 22-year-old Uzan still has one year of eligibility left. He transferred to Houston from Oklahoma, where he played for two seasons and averaged 8.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.1 rebounds in 64 games (56 starts) from 2022-24.

Uzan has until May 28 to make a decision on whether to withdraw from the June 25-26 draft. He is currently ranked as the No. 42 overall draft prospect by ESPN.
