FSU's Jamir Watkins Joins Transfer Pool with 'No Communication' Designation
Florida State's top scorer, Jamir Watkins, has reportedly entered the transfer portal on Wednesday with a 'do not contact' label.
The 6-foot-7 forward led the Seminoles in points per game at 18.4 and also contributed 5.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 32 starts last season. He began his college career at VCU and has one year of eligibility remaining after missing a season due to a knee injury.
In 2024-25, Watkins was the fourth-highest scorer in the ACC and was named to the All-ACC Second Team.

Following the retirement of Leonard Hamilton, Watkins is the 10th player from Florida State to enter the transfer portal. The Seminoles have named Luke Loucks as their new head coach.
Throughout his career at VCU and Florida State, Watkins has averaged 12.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 126 games, 84 of which he started.
