The leading five positions in the current Associated Press Top 25 rankings remain unaltered, with Auburn still unanimously holding the No. 1 spot, while St. John's and Memphis experienced the most significant advancements after both climbing five places.
Auburn (18-1) maintained its top position after narrowly defeating Tennessee 53-51 on Saturday. Duke (17-2), Iowa State (17-2), Alabama (17-3), and Florida (18-2) round out the top five.
Following their loss, Tennessee (17-3) dropped two places to No. 8, while Houston (16-3) and Michigan State (17-2) each moved up one spot to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively. No. 9 Marquette (17-3) and No. 10 Purdue (16-5) also each climbed one spot.
St. John's (17-3) leaped to the No. 15 position, while Memphis (16-4) rose to No. 19. Ole Miss (15-5) fell seven places to No. 23, while two-time defending champions UConn (14-6) dropped six places to No. 25 after a 77-72 loss to unranked Xavier on Saturday.
No. 24 Vanderbilt (16-4) entered the Top 25 for the first time since December 7, 2015.
