Golden State Warriors Secure Top Spot in NBA Cup Standings
Andrew Wiggins scored a season-high 30 points, while Stephen Curry contributed 19 as the Golden State Warriors secured first place in West Group C of the NBA Cup with a 112-108 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.
Draymond Green added 11 points, eight rebounds, and five assists for the Warriors, who now hold a 3-0 record in the tournament. Golden State will advance to the NBA Cup quarterfinals on either December 10 or 11.
Trey Murphy III had a season-best 24 points and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl recorded a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double off the bench for the Pelicans, who fell to a 1-2 record in Cup play.
