Jimmy Butler tallied a game-high 33 points and also contributed nine rebounds and six assists as the Miami Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks 123-118 in overtime on Sunday night.

Kyrie Irving, the star player for the Mavericks, had 27 points and six assists, while P.J. Washington added 21 points and 10 rebounds. Unfortunately, the Mavericks were without their reigning NBA scoring champion, Luka Doncic, who was sidelined due to a wrist injury.

After a week-long break, the Miami Heat had double-doubles from Bam Adebayo (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Tyler Herro (18 points, 10 rebounds). Adebayo's 3-pointer in overtime proved to be the game-winning shot as the Mavericks missed their final seven shots.

In another game, the Boston Celtics defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 107-105. Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics with 29 points, while Jayson Tatum added 26 points and eight rebounds. Brown was particularly impressive from beyond the arc, making 7 of his 10 3-point attempts.

The Indiana Pacers also secured a victory, defeating the Washington Wizards 115-103. Pascal Siakam scored 22 points and Tyrese Haliburton added 21 points for the Pacers. The Wizards, who have now lost 11 straight games, were led by Alexandre Sarr's 17 points and 14 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Clippers dominated the Philadelphia 76ers, winning 125-99. James Harden scored 23 points for the Clippers, who shot 58% from the field and 40% from long range. Despite playing without their leading scorer Norman Powell and two-way standout Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers were able to secure their fifth straight win.

The Cleveland Cavaliers also emerged victorious, defeating the Toronto Raptors 122-108. Ty Jerome led the way for the Cavaliers with 26 points off the bench, while Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley both recorded double-doubles. Scottie Barnes and Gradey Dick each scored 18 points for the Raptors.

In a close game, the Brooklyn Nets were able to come out on top, defeating the Sacramento Kings 108-103. Cam Thomas had a game-high 34 points for the Nets, who rallied in the fourth quarter after blowing a 19-point lead. De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 31 points.
