Jazz Reportedly Ink 1-Year, $3.3M Contract with G Patty Mills
According to ESPN, the Utah Jazz have agreed to a one-year contract worth $3.3 million with free agent guard Patty Mills.
At 36 years old, Mills will be playing for his sixth team in his 16th season. The deal is fully guaranteed, as reported.
Last season, Mills split his time between the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat, where he averaged 4.0 points and 13.0 minutes in 32 games, including five starts.
Throughout his career, Mills has maintained averages of 8.8 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.6 rebounds in 892 games, with 112 starts, for the Portland Trail Blazers (2009-11), San Antonio Spurs (2011-21), Brooklyn Nets (2021-23), Hawks, and Heat.
Interestingly, Mills will be reunited with Jazz head coach Will Hardy, who previously served as an assistant coach under Gregg Popovich during Mills' time with the Spurs.
