Chauncey Billups and Vince Carter were inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass., on Sunday night.

The 2024 class featured 13 inductees, including seven players such as Michael Cooper, Walter Davis, Seimone Augustus, Dick Barnett, and Michele Timms.

Coaches Bo Ryan, Charles Smith, and Harley Redin were also honored, along with contributors Doug Collins, Herb Simon, and Jerry West.

West, who passed away in June at the age of 86, became the first-ever three-time inductee in Springfield.

Billups, 48, played 17 seasons in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, Toronto Raptors, and New York Knicks.

The five-time All-Star, three-time All-NBA selection, and 2004 Finals MVP had career averages of 15.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. He is currently the coach of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Carter, 47, played for eight teams during his 22-year NBA career, earning eight All-Star selections and the 1998-99 Rookie of the Year award.

Cooper, 68, was known for his defensive skills with the \"Showtime\" Lakers, winning five championships in his 12-year career.

Davis, who passed away in November 2023 at the age of 69, was named Rookie of the Year in 1978 and spent 11 of his 15 NBA seasons with the Phoenix Suns.

Barnett, 88, was a two-time NBA champion and six-time All-Star during his 14-year career with the Knicks, Lakers, and Syracuse Nationals.

Augustus, 40, had a 15-year WNBA career with the Minnesota Lynx and Los Angeles Sparks, winning four titles and earning Finals MVP in 2011.

Timms, 59, made a name for herself on the global basketball stage, helping Australia win bronze and silver medals at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics, respectively.

Ryan, 76, had a successful 32-year career as a college coach, including stints at Wisconsin-Platteville, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Wisconsin.

Smith, 75, has won nine state championships as a high school coach in Louisiana.

Redin, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 100, coached both the men's and women's teams at Wayland Baptist University, earning six Amateur Athletic Union tournament titles.

Collins, 73, was a four-time All-Star as a player and went on to coach the Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, Philadelphia 76ers, and Detroit Pistons.

Simon, 89, is the owner of the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.

West, a 14-time All-Star and 12-time All-NBA selection, was inducted into the Hall of Fame twice before his passing in 2020. He was also a member of nine Lakers championship teams.
