Dillon Brooks of Rockets receives $25K penalty for using profanity

Houston Rockets small forward Dillon Brooks is required to contribute $25,000 to the NBA's profanity fund.

The league penalized Brooks on Wednesday for using vulgar language during a live TV interview.

His comments were made during an on-court interview following the Rockets' 114-112 win against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Monday night.

The 29-year-old Brooks had a season-high of 36 points against the Celtics. He currently has an average of 13.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 43 games (all of which he started) this season.
