Damian Lillard, the star guard for the Milwaukee Bucks, informed the media during the morning shootaround that he will make his return to the court on Tuesday evening against the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.

Lillard, who was previously listed as questionable for Game 2 of the first-round series in the Eastern Conference, has been absent from play since March 18 due to a blood clot in his leg.

In the first game of the series on Saturday, the fifth-seeded Bucks suffered a 117-98 loss to the fourth-seeded Pacers.

Last month, the 34-year-old Lillard was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his right calf and was prescribed blood-thinning medication, which kept him out of action. However, with his condition improving, the Bucks announced last Thursday that he has been given the green light to resume playing basketball.

During the regular season, the nine-time All-Star averaged 24.9 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds in 58 games. Throughout his career spanning over 900 games with the Portland Trail Blazers (2012-23) and Bucks, he has maintained averages of 25.1 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.3 rebounds.
