Report: Warriors G Stephen Curry (ankle) could miss several games

The Warriors of the Golden State are preparing for the potential absence of their two-time MVP guard, Stephen Curry, for multiple games following an ankle injury during Sunday evening's match, as reported by ESPN.
Curry is scheduled to undergo an MRI after spraining his left ankle in the Warriors' 112-104 defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers. Head coach Steve Kerr described the injury as "mild or moderate" after the game.
During the third quarter, Curry first left the game after injuring his ankle with 2:43 remaining. He remained on the bench and returned to the game in the fourth quarter with 8:08 left. However, his comeback was short-lived as he aggravated the injury and had to leave the game for good, visibly limping and relying on teammate Gary Payton II for support.
In 27 minutes of play, Curry scored 18 points, making four out of seven 3-point attempts, and also contributed six assists.
After the game, Warriors guard Gary Payton II expressed his disappointment, saying, "It's unfortunate, especially for him. But we'll manage. Hopefully, he won't miss too many games, but we'll have to figure it out."
In three games, Curry has averaged 18.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.3 rebounds.
The Warriors will face the New Orleans Pelicans in back-to-back games, starting on Tuesday night.
