"Breaking News: Pacers and Andrew Nembhard Reach Agreement on 3-Year, $59M Contract"

Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard has reportedly reached an agreement on a lucrative three-year contract extension worth $59 million, according to ESPN.

Once the deal is signed, Nembhard will be locked in with the Pacers until the end of the 2027-28 season. In order to make room for the extension, the team will decline their $2.2 million option for the 2025-26 season, per ESPN's sources.

The 2022 NBA Draft saw Nembhard, a former Gonzaga standout, selected by the Pacers with the 31st overall pick. In his two regular seasons in the league, he has appeared in 143 games and started 110, averaging 9.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.

During the 2023-24 season, Nembhard played a key role in the Pacers' playoff run to the Eastern Conference finals, starting in 17 games and averaging 14.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists while shooting an impressive 56.0 percent from the field and 48.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Originally from Ontario, the 24-year-old Nembhard is currently representing Team Canada in the Olympics.
