Pallante pitched seven scoreless innings for the St. Louis Cardinals in a 4-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Skenes allowed just one run in six innings for the Pirates, but the Cardinals' bullpen held them to just four hits for the rest of the game.

The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Philadelphia Phillies 6-2, with Contreras doubling home two runs and Civale allowing just one run in five-plus innings. Rea earned his first career save for the Brewers, while Suarez allowed three runs in five innings for the Phillies.

Freeman's three-run homer sparked a six-run seventh inning for the Los Angeles Dodgers in a 9-0 win over the Atlanta Braves. Yamamoto pitched four scoreless innings for the Dodgers in his return from injury, and Phillips earned the win with a perfect fifth inning.

The Chicago Cubs beat the Oakland Athletics 9-2, with Imanaga pitching six quality innings and Swanson hitting a home run and driving in four runs. Rooker homered and had two RBIs for the Athletics.

The Detroit Tigers rallied from a 4-0 deficit to beat the Kansas City Royals 7-6, with Vierling's RBI single in the ninth inning securing the win. Meadows, Torkelson, and McKinstry each had two hits for the Tigers, while Witt Jr. hit a grand slam for the Royals.

The Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2, with Doyle scoring on a throwing error in the bottom of the ninth inning. Tovar and Goodman hit home runs for the Rockies, while Marte homered for the Diamondbacks.
