Dodgers to start RHP Walker Buehler in Game 3 at New York

The Los Angeles Dodgers will begin Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night at Yankee Stadium in New York with right-hander Walker Buehler on the mound.
Instead of using a bullpen game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has chosen to start Buehler against the Yankees.
\"We have great confidence in Walker for big games,\" Roberts stated. \"He is not intimidated by the road. This also gives him the potential to pitch in a Game 7 if needed.\"
Buehler, who is 30 years old, has a record of 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA in two postseason starts, both of which were on the road. In his career, he has a record of 3-4 with a 3.25 ERA in 17 playoff starts.
New York has chosen right-hander Clarke Schmidt to start Game 3. Schmidt, who is 28 years old, has a record of 0-0 with a 3.86 ERA in two postseason starts. Overall, he has a record of 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in five playoff appearances, two of which were starts.
Game 2 will take place on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
In Game 1, Los Angeles won in an exciting fashion when Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning, securing a 6-3 victory.
