The Arizona Diamondbacks have reportedly agreed to sign experienced infielder Luis Guillorme following the loss of second baseman Ketel Marte to the injured list. This news was reported by multiple sources on Tuesday.

Guillorme, who is 29 years old, began the season with the Atlanta Braves before being traded to the Los Angeles Angels on May 9. However, he was designated for assignment by the Angels last week.

In 59 games this season, Guillorme has a batting average of .218 and has hit seven doubles and six RBIs. Throughout his career, he has played in 393 games and has a batting average of .254. He has previously played for the New York Mets (2018-23), Braves, and Angels.
